This site is owned and operated by Kalani, one of LA's top studio and touring percussionist, recently voted World Percussionist of the Year by the readers of DRUM! Magazine. Kalani has recorded and/or toured with industry icons such as Barry Manilow, Yanni, Kenny Loggins, Dr. John, John Mayall, and played percussion for TV and film sound tracks at Capitol Records, Paramount Studios, Warner Brothers, and Jim Hensen Records. Kalani treats every artist and project with professional care and attention.


History
Kalani has been playing professionally for more than 30 years. He has produced numerous CDs, DVDs, Books, and has toured and recorded with major artists and the not-so-major. Kalani began his professional career at the age of 15 and has played on hundreds of recordings and for scores of projects. He is one a a few percussionists that is well-versed in virtually all styles of World Music, from West African to Orchestral and from Pop to Avant-Garde. He has worked for some of the top composers and directors in LA, including Michael Kaman and Robert Kraft.
